Michael Morland is one of AALs Senior Managers and is responsible for the strategic development for AAL in the Americas, as well as the Oil & Gas vertical. He brings over 18 years international experience in the shipping, offshore and maritime industries. This specifically includes the heavy lift, project cargo and breakbulk market, having previously served in senior executive roles at Global Ocean AS and T.P. Shipping AS. Morland has been working in the Projects remit throughout his career and has seen the Project Cargo market from several perspectives, firstly as a specialist Project Cargo Broker, thereafter as consultant for Principal & EPC and lastly now as an Shipowners representative for AAL in the Americas.
