Tim Fitzgibbon
Senior Expert McKinsey & Company
Tim Fitzgibbon is a Senior Industry Expert with McKinsey’s Oil and Gas Practice. Tim leads the Firm’s work with refining clients around the globe in the areas of strategy and operations transformation. His particular areas of expertise include crude and product market dynamics, refinery strategy formulation, refinery and commercial planning, and process unit optimization. Tim also leads McKinsey’s downstream market analytics team, which develops perspectives on global crude and product markets and refinery industry profitability.
Tim has been with McKinsey for 26 years, based in our Houston office. Prior to joining McKinsey, he spent 5 years as an energy policy consultant in Washington, DC; and previous to that he was a refinery process engineer.
Tim has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
